Due to acquisition, we need to recruit a new International Wine Challenge Event Manager to join IWC Events Limited.

Are you currently an event manager with a flair for events and a passion for all things wine and sake? We’re on the hunt for a Event Manager Extraordinaire to take on the IWC and associated events. If you’re a strategic genius with a knack for driving thought provoking events, building epic brand vibes, and mixing up creative event magic, you might just be the one we’re looking for!

So what’s the Gig?
• Event Maestro: Whether it’s a fancy awards dinner or a wine tasting, you’ll oversee events that leave our guests raving. Your flair for the fabulous will make each event a masterclass.
• Brand Wizardry: Team up with our marketing maestro to boost our brand’s street cred. Think outside the box, and then make it happen!
• Data Dynamo: Keep an eagle eye on numbers and event success, tweaking your tactics to hit those deliverables and then some.
• You will initially manage these events:

International Wine Challenge judging
The Industry Awards judging
IWC Awards dinner
Exhibitions stand the UK and abroad
IWC Sake events (UK and Japan)
…. and a few more in the pipeline!

Your Secret Weapons:
• Industry Savvy: You’re not just in the know; you’re ahead of the curve when it comes to wine and sake trends. You’ve got your finger on the pulse at the heart of the industry
• Relationships: You’re a master at forging and nurturing relationships that last.
• Cool Under Fire: Pressure? What pressure? You’re the calm in the storm, adapting on the fly and handling whatever comes your way with grace and humour
• Detail geek: Nothing slips through the cracks. You’re meticulous, organised, and always on time. Never, ever late.
• Creative: You’re brimming with ideas and know how to turn them into reality. Innovation is your middle name!
• Team Player with Solo Skills: You’re a team player who can also go solo like a pro when needed.

Other skills we are looking for:
Preferably a WSET Wine or Sake qualification
Second language. ideally Japanese, French, or Spanish

This is a hybrid role. Working from home, visit the offices in Amersham, and on-site events in the UK and abroad.
