We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager/Sommelier to lead our fine dining establishment in Constance Lemuria, Seychelles. As the Restaurant Manager/Somelier, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and cuisine.
Lead and inspire a team of culinary and service professionals to deliver outstanding fine dining experiences
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue
Manage financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative menus and wine pairings
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and grace
Implement and maintain training programs for all staff members
Stay current with fine dining trends and incorporate them into our restaurant's offerings
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fine dining restaurant management
Proven track record of successful restaurant operations and team leadership
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
Excellent knowledge of fine dining cuisine, service standards, and wine pairings
Superior customer service skills with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations
Proficiency in inventory management and staff scheduling
Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred
Current Food Safety Certification
In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
