Your Role as Sommelier (m/f/d):

At Vila Joya, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional cuisine complemented by an extensive and meticulously curated selection of wines from around the globe. As our Sommelier, you will:

• Take a leadership role within our service team, setting the standard for excellence.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and expertise.
• Craft unforgettable dining experiences for our esteemed guests through your knowledge and passion.

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:

• Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional languages like Portuguese, German, or Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Passion and Expertise: A deep love for wine and food pairing, coupled with a desire to expand your knowledge continuously and with Michelin star experience.
• Education and Certification: With Completion of relevant advanced/master Sommelier training or wine studies. (ASI, WSET...)
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities, an engaging personality, and rapport-building talent.
• Detail Orientation: Precision in wine service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
